Amazon provides a great career development opportunity. Amazon employees get given ownership of important outputs and projects from day 1. The company has a flexible working environment and encourages mobility within the business, giving its employees the possibility to try very different careers.

Cons

The environment is results driven and competitive which might not suit everyone.
