Pros

- Big name, helps to have on your resume - Can be working on something for Alexa and see that work live on device within a week

Cons

- Poorly managed: tech is hacky and maintenance is prioritized over solutions/customer oriented thinking - Jobs are not nearly as technical as advertised (more data entry than data science) - Low salaries for big tech - Disappointing culture: inappropriate relationships between management and employees (managers living with/dating employees) and over the line jokes - Poor work life balance
