Pros

Decent benefits, PTO and vacation are counted separately. 2 weeks accrued vacation after the first year which is in sync with many other companies. People, in general, are hardworking and believe in the company (in a way or another).

Cons

Frugality (one of the leadership principles) is used as an excuse, many times, to acquire bad third party tools or push teams to develop even worse tools. Laptops are all refurbished and you can only have a brand new one after 5 years with the company. You end up changing your laptop almost every year because the refurbished can't go on any longer. It affects the productivity due to the many trips to IT dept and re-installation of tools in the 'new' machine. Invent and simplify works mostly for the products that are customer facing but many internal tools are half-baked and are always to fix one single or a set of issues. There is no future thinking because people do not have the time to spend adjusting and correcting issues.

Cons

Be prepared to figure things out for yourself, you own't get told what to do or how to do it.
