Pros

Work life balance is exceptional. Benefits are fair. Family culture. Very healthy business model - company is making huge benefits!!!

Cons

Highly political, and hierarchical. Lots of gossips. Difficult to develop a career. People stay in Amadeus for ever - because of it's family, high quality of life.... but no turn over means no room to develop a career. Very slow decision making process. Risk adverse. Not a high intensity work culture.

Pros

Projects are good. Opportunity to learn new technology, tools etc. Compensation is good, no variable components. Amadeus is a highly recognised company globally. Mark leaders in the business. Stable financial background.

Cons

Senior management in India are very immature. Zero motivation and inspiration by them. Their only focus is to increase their team size so that they can grow. No recognition and appreciation irrespective of how much ever effort you spend. Instead they will try to find negatives in whatever you do. I felt more comfortable working with foreign counterparts than my local management.

Pros

- Relaxed, friendly environment - Opportunities to travel and work with overseas teams - People are generally friendly and approachable - Exposure to the processes of the airline industry can be interesting

Cons

- Entry-level employees or people new to the company or airline industry will struggle as there is no real support or structure for training or learning resources, training is mostly on-the-job. - Career growth is not so great - especially for juniors/graduates. There is a huge gap between the knowledge/experience between experts and that of juniors and not much is done to bridge this gap. - Salary is below average.
