Pros
Almost none if you are male. If you are smart ambitious and well-connected woman from an elite business school, you may go far, since the management team are becoming all female and they promote profile females.
Cons
Very little chance to get promoted. If you do get on a career development plan, they make you jump through so many hoops to then defer your promotion for another six months or longer.. and then if you finally get it, they dont pu up your salary straight away. When they eventually do give you a rise, it is usually peanuts while the senior management team rake in massive bonuses. The company is not what it used to be and they are looking now to cut costs as their main cash cow line of business is slowly dying. Then they obsess over things like engagement surveys which they use to fire you. Terrible.
