Pros

- Prime location in Pune - Health insurance is good. Parental insurance is included. - Travel, Interesting Domain - Food everyday ( Though in black plastic) - Sometimes good tech stack and learnings

Cons

- Most of the employees are from Cybage, hence service based work culture. Lot of politics. Hard to put your point. - Employees from Cybage are soft cornered hence they are assumed to be working when they are not. - Lady on the floor to take most of the imp decisions, even hike percentage. She looked to be the owner of Pune campus. - Production support, This was part of a seperate support team, now they have asked employees to take the ownership and support 24*7. Even no comp off. - Strict on hybrid model. I joined due to flexible working hybrid model.

Pros

Very good company policies but lacks in implementation in Pune office so same organization has huge differences at different locations. Work-Life Balance, again only for Bangalore employees.

Cons

Too much Micromanagement in every aspect. No Transportation Facility or Snacks for Pune employees, which they have in their company policies. They have stooped down to the level of making employees sit according to the Manager's wish. If they find you talking to nearby colleagues, they ask you to change your desk.

Pros

Laptops are configured correctly to support development work (software engineering).

Cons

1. Management did not provide me with any plan to gain proficiency in this role or in the travel industry. As a software engineer, lacking domain knowledge of the travel industry can make it challenging to thrive in this company. 2. Recommendations made by engineers, leads, and architects are often overridden by the "business". 3. The company's business model typically only prioritizes improvements if they are paid for by partners, resulting in infrequent common upgrades to applications and services. The software framework versions are also outdated. 4. During my code review, I noticed poor code quality, with few standards, inadequate unit tests, no code validation, and other issues. 5. There is a culture of defensiveness among many engineers which leads to hostility towards suggestions for improvement and complaints to management. This creates a hostile work environment that causes anxiety. 6. The company is reluctant to approve travel and offers limited support for continuing education to enhance skills. 7. Some leads express frustration with HR and the company's hiring practices. Instead of dismissing a non-trusted engineer, they are passed around to different departments. 8. The company's long-standing employees do not necessarily indicate a positive work environment, as some have become overly defensive, making it challenging to introduce new ideas. 9. The company discourages personal work, writing, and speaking at conferences, and mentioning these interests may lead to complaints to management from other developers.
