      Pros

      Assigns you career counselor that helps you figure out how to navigate the company and the different channels of consulting. Their performance evaluation and promotion cycles are very transparent. Pays well.

      Cons

      It's government consulting, so implementing recommendations takes a century.

      Benefits are good. Salary is competitive, but that seems to vary by position and manager.

      Cons

      My manager was promoted and while she knows the job she doesn’t manage. We are a 3 person team and from where I am sitting, she allows my co-worker to co-manage. My co-worker wants to change processes that directly impact my job and she is allowed to do so, without any input from me. I have said repeatedly that I need more work but it’s not given to me. I’m supposed to be working towards a promotion but I am not being trained properly, or at all, for that matter.
