I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at deVere Group (Geneva, Geneva) in Apr 2017
Interview
The interview was ok. They'll tell you about the potential of making serious money, but honestly, it's highly unlikely that you will. That's statistically speaking of course. You have to watch a Nigel Green presentation. You have a phone interview and an in-person interview. Also a Skype interview
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Typical interview questions. Nothing too fancy or tricky. Just be honest and you'll be fine. The skype interview is to go over the answers of the personality test you had to take. They'll go on about how great the company is, of course it's to be expected.
I applied online. I interviewed at deVere Group (Londra, Inghilterra) in Sep 2017
Interview
The interview process is in depth and extremely long winded. I became wary of the whole opportunity at the final assessment day when they continually told us all that we would be expected to work from about 5.30 in the morning to 7 at night to make it in the company. We were assessed on our ability to do mundane tasks repeatedly (for anyone who went, think of the penny game) which I have now realised is because this is clearly more of a repetitive cold call sales role than an actual wealth adviser role.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at deVere Group (Dubai) in Dec 2016
Interview
It was conducted via telephone and skype. Fairly easy interview. They don't look for much except that you can sell and have some drive in you. First, a recruiter will contact you. Then set up an interview with a manager, then back to the recruiter, then for you to attend a training week, at your expense, and if you pass, they make you a firm offer.
