I applied online. I interviewed at UNICEF in Feb 2021
Interview
Pleasant interview after I applied.
Was told to hear back the result next week, never heard back.
After six weeks and numerous contact attempts was told I was rejected.
Overall, ok interview, but the lengthy process with too many applicants per place, as is the case with the UN always.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself.
What can you bring to the job?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at UNICEF in Dec 2020
Interview
Focussed on past experiences and taking questions from two or more people. There is often, but not always, a very deferential approach to the hierarchy. Consultants are, apparently, not subjected to the requirement for regional equity that staff positions are.
