I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at UBS (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2022
Interview
The interview process was a bit longer than others I have gone through; in total I participated in 6 rounds of calls/virtual meetings across 3 months. Most of the calls were very standard as far as interviews go, meeting with leadership from various departments and answering basic questions about my background and what makes me suitable for the role. There was one interview that was a case study format, where they presented me with a real-life problem the team has faced, then left the room and gave me 40 minutes to come up with a 4-point presentation on a solution and implementation plan, which was presented to the panel at the end of 40 minutes followed by a Q&A where I answered any questions the panel had on my solution. It was challenging, but in a good way.
