Interview
I was excited for them to call me for an interview, as I love this brand. This was the second time I had a phone interview with a recruiter, then they went radio silent. Just like the first time, I tried to follow up on the status of my application, and never received a response. At least a generic email telling me I didn’t get the job would have been better than completely ignoring me. Not a very professional image to put forth to your candidates. I won’t ever waste my time applying here again. They clearly don’t care about how they treat applicants and it makes me wonder if they treat their employees the same unprofessional way. I would say this was a bullet dodged.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Ocean, NJ) in Nov 2018
Interview
Personally, I thought Target's interview process was great from start-to-finish. I would say it's a three-to-four phase interview process. First, it started with a phone screening to see if you'd be a good candidate. Just the next day was the official phone interview with the Target recruiter. The third and fourth interviews were the same day, back-to-back. I read each and every interview on Glassdoor and it helped me TREMENDOUSLY. Be prepared to answer SBO (situation-behavior-outcome) questions. They want to see what kind of problem you faced at work, what was the behavior you used to rectify the issue and what was the outcome. I prepared at least 10 questions from Glassdoor - most of them were asked during the interviews with slight variations in how they were worded, of course! After the last round of interviews, I heard back from the recruiter the next day saying I got the job but they needed a few days to iron out the details of my offer. From applying to my offer, it was just about a 3 week process. Both the recruiter and leaders who interviewed me were amazing - super friendly and professional. My biggest suggestion would be to go in there with as many SBO questions and answers in mind and to be yourself. It's great to prepare but they want you to be personable and approachable, not like a robot. Overall, a great interview process.
