I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Standard Chartered Bank (Newark, NJ)
Interview
Was called in for an interview a day after applying on the company's website. It took 4 interviews in one day and 1 interview a few days later. No difficult questions - two of the interviewers seemed not experienced enough in either interview process or specific position i was applying to. Overall, it was pleasant and relaxed.
Very long process. Several interviews over a period of many months. Sometimes people would call at random to interview without prior appointment. Extremely unplanned process. Even had a few people call for completely different roles from my interest area. Finally nothing came of it, I got no rejection mail or call. Followed up but never heard back.

- Long waiting of confirmation upon hiring process. Usually the hiring managers will probably confirm who to recruit near the due date set by HR

Question 1
What do you understand about our transaction banking?
-As you understand from the bank's website, there are minimal information revealed. Additionally, banking is a very wide industry and banks usually have their own integrated platforms that makes it hard to answer the question.
I have noticed that some banks preferred to get assistance from recruitment agencies for sourcing of employees, the recruitment agencies should provide more details upon the first interview, to allow employees understand better of the particular position. This should make known to recruitment agencies
