I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Shell (Houston, TX) in Jul 2012
Interview
Submitted my resume and application through their website for this position and 5 other positions as well, starting in April of 2012. I did not hear a thing from them until July, when I was slated for a phone interview for one of the 6 positions I applied for. I was contacted by one person who did not conduct the phone interview per their posted process - he said he only wanted to get an idea of who the candidates on the short list were. The conversation lasted about 45 minutes, maybe an hour. I heard nothing more from Shell until about September, when one by one I was rejected for all 6 positions. One of those positions all but had my name on it - my resume and the job description were nearly identical.

In the case study, there was a question about a acquisition of another company, the question was, say you are the CEO of the plant, if the acquisition happens,if the acquisition does not happen, what will you do about the plant? will you shut it down because of its problems, or will you try to revive it....if you decide to revive it, how would you do it?
I found this one tough because as per the case study, the plant had hell lot of problems.
