They will send you emails of technical questions to be answered. There are 2 series of these, once you finished one, you will be emailed another set of questions to be answered. These might a bit hard. But I believe these would set you an interview if you answered them they way they want. After completing both series, you will be notified by a email of getting an interview.
The interview I had was on campus at University of Houston. I applied through the companies website, and was listed to be interviewed on campus. You are able to select what time is right for you.

Submitted application and had a phone interview. The phone interview asked mainly behavioral questions - examples of when I had worked in a team, led a team etc. After passing the phone interview I was invited for Shell's Recruitment Day. It is a full day event beginning with an e-tray exercise, e-tray exercise review, group exercise, trading case study and, finally, a regular interviewer with two members of senior management.

Experience was Quite different from normal candidate. Took the online test and was told just 4 hours after that i have a technical interview next day. Gave the interview and 1 month after that was called for an assesment centre.
Was first interview and assesment centre of my life. Was nervours and excited . excellent arrangements from thier side.
