I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Dublino, Dublino) in Oct 2018
Interview
I had initially applied for the BDA role and had a screen call over the phone with a HR rep and then an interview with one of the BDA managers. He felt my previous experience and skills were better suited to the SDR role. I was then referred on to the SDR managers, with which i had a similar interview. They asked me to come back for a final Panel Presentation in which i had to do a case study on a company of my choice and conduct a mock cold call with the interviewers. Finally i had an interview with the SDR Director which was informal and relaxed, more of a general chat really. A few day later i was offered the position.
Originally applied for a BDA role in the company and Had a phone screen call with a HR representative. She referred me to a BDA manager who I had a very tough interview with. Following on from this, he referred me to the Sales Development team, as he felt this was more suited to my skill set. With the SDR team, I had an initial screening interview before having a full 1.5 hour interview including a case study, mock call and pitch of my own credentials. Finally, I had an interview with a sales director. During this I keep in contact with the original HR person, having to submit all the required details directly to her. Got a phone call one week later to tell me I got the job!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce in Oct 2018
Interview
It was a very good back and forth interview. They ask you a lot about what you did in your old job and why you want to join salesforce. Also they ask to show your sales skills in some type of role play.
