Question 1
More about what I have done which was mentioned in resume
External recruiter interview, followed by 2 interviews by zoom. Not difficult and very average questions. I self selected out as their were only offering a contract position with zero benefits and bad pay.

Question 1
Tell me about a situation where you had to make a difficult choice.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NIKE (Portland, OR) in Apr 2025
Interview
I’ve gone through several Nike interviews for PLM roles. The process is consistent: first, a round with HR (always nice and friendly), then an interview with a hiring manager (usually casual and pleasant, insightful). After that comes the panel stage, which varies—sometimes 4 individual interviews, other times 2x2 panels.
The panel interviews are tough and very robotic, one STAR question after another, with interviewers taking notes the entire time. Surprisingly, not once was I asked about actual footwear knowledge or my product expertise. It felt more about behavioral checkboxes than true capabilities.
Another challenge is speed and clarity. I applied for a role in December, went through several rounds, and 7 months later, it’s still listed as open. Some roles get canceled mid-process due to restructuring. And in most cases, an internal candidate is ultimately selected.
That said, Nike as a brand is inspiring, the people are passionate, and the culture is highly creative. If you land the right role, it’s an incredible place to build a career.

Question 1
They always ask the same basics: Why this role?” and Why Nike? But I was never asked about actual footwear knowledge or product expertise, which was surprising.
