I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Life Time (Oak Brook, IL) in Feb 2016
Interview
Applied on the website and received an email about a week later regarding an interview, came in to the facilities for the interview and it was very conversational/straightforward. Heard back regarding if I got the job about three days after the interview. Overall very quick and easy process!

Question 1
When was a time you had to work in a group setting?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Life Time (New York, NY) in Jan 2016
Interview
The interview process was unnecessarily long for a lifeguard position. I felt like they expected a lot from only a student applyng for basically a minimum wage job. But, the woman interviewing me was friendly and the questions were easy for the most part. Great benefits like a free gym membership if you do work here, so not the worst thing in the world.

Question 1
Q: What is the mission and vision statement of lifetime fitness?
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Life Time (Novi, MI) in Nov 2014
Interview
I applied online through careers; they require both CPR and AED certification, a resume with past employment history, and references.
There were two interviews - the initial screening by the Aquatics Department Head, and then by the manager of the club.
The initial screening asked about your fitness background, proficiency in aquatic sport, as well as the mission and vision.
The second interview was on the mission and vision, recap of LifeTime values as well as a physical proficiency test in which you had to demonstrate proficient swimming ability.
