The position is fraudulently misrepresented. You are employed as a full time employer yet are paid on a draw system (loan) that must be payed back or you go in debt to the for future earnings. After your initial hiring and agreement to this very well disguised form of payment, you attend a week long training course. Its designed to make you believe in the company philosophy. What you quickly realize, is that you have wasted a month of your time to make near or below the poverty line. The Fitness Department employs 40 trainers at all time. You will get little to no help to obtain clients, while upper management gets all the warm leads. Within two months of working with Lifetime Fitness, I watched 10 trainers quit.

Question 1
How can you explain how a trainer after six months, still lives pay check to paycheck?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Life Time in Dec 2014
Interview
Typical interview asked basic questions about previous experience, availability, and compensation. Was then given scenarios to describe how I'd handle the situation. Was also asked how I maintained a healthy way of life and told them the many ways I personally maintain a healthy way of life; was then told "we were looking for the answer Lifetime maintains the healthy way of life by providing diet, exercise, mental, & spiritual health." I then asked if I was supposed to tell them my personal healthy ways or how the company works. Interviewer responded with, "your answer was not wrong just not the one we were looking for." This came off unprofessional and condescending to me personally. The employers were very arrogant with the way they talked about the company. Did not feel very welcome.
