The hiring process at Lenovo takes an average of 29 days when considering 3 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Intern had the quickest hiring process (on average 14 days), whereas Marketing roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 60 days).
There was a big with a lot of interns and a lot of employees who were individually conducting interviews around the room. When you get called over to a table you do the interview and then that's pretty much it.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lenovo
Interview
I interviewed with recruiting, the hiring manager, and field CTO. I followed up several times for updates and was ghosted. Still have heard nothing months later. Very poor process and impression.
I applied online. I interviewed at Lenovo (Singapore) in Dec 2020
Interview
Received call from HR (based in Malaysia) and was scheduled for an interview. This process was seamless until... The follow up and communication thereafter. It was almost absent. I requested for a response. Despite my active effort in reaching out, the response and communication by the HR in Malaysia was so poor. It seems like his job was done after arranging the interview. I simply needed an update, he could have simply responded to my emails (3 or 4 emails sent to no avail). I even called to request for an update and he could not give me an answer. It is terrible communication to candidates. I would advise them that let their yes be yes and no be no. Although we are just an interview candidate, please respect us and be responsible in giving update. Even though you are not obligated to do so, it will be very much appreciated if you can simply follow up.

The question and answer was standard and a pleasant experience for me.
