The interview process was quite tedious and disorganised perhaps due to inexperienced outsourced coordinators for the event.
On the other hand, it was a pleasure meeting candidates from all around the world and the opportunity to know more about their countries through word of mouth is quite intriguing.
I applied through college or university. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Lenovo (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2017
Interview
I applied in the summer, got an e-mail assessment in late summer, got called into half-day interview in September; they gave the impression that there would only be one more final round of interviews but once you pass the half-day and select which teams you would be okay with working in, you have to go through another full 3-round process again.
