I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at LA Fitness in Jun 2024
Interview
The interview process started after I applied online. I got a phone call from the general manager about two days later to schedule an in-person interview. When I arrived, I checked in at the front desk and waited about 10 minutes before meeting with the manager in one of the offices at the gym.
The interview itself was one-on-one and lasted around 25 to 30 minutes. It was fairly informal, but focused mostly on my sales background, interest in fitness, and how comfortable I would be working with membership quotas and doing outreach. The manager explained that the role involved cold calling, walk-ins, and sometimes going outside the gym to promote memberships. They also described the commission structure and expectations for hitting monthly targets. At the end, I was told I’d hear back within a few days.
