Interview
Just a couple of rounds. Average interview. Standard hiring process. HR call and a face to face technical. Then a call with the VP. Then offer stage followed by background checks.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in Oct 2017
Interview
Applied after the VP of cybersecurity gave a talk at my school. Had two phone interviews back to back, each lasted 30 minutes. One was more technical and one behavioral. Technical interview was more of a resume dive than a test of knowledge or skill. Questions given were extremely superficial and the interviewer recoginzed that and expressed distain for being given those questions to ask. Got an offer about a week later. Turned it down after meeting with some of their software engineers at a dinner and seeing how awful the company culture was.
