I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed (New York, NY) in Feb 2014
Interview
COntact by recruiter and schedule phone interview, basic questions about the job and why I was interested. If i was cut out to make 60-100 calls per day. Then was brought in to meet with 3 directors of sales where they asked basic interview questions, "when have you faced difficulty?", "how did you respond?". After that they schedule you for a role playing presentation where you try and sell them on Indeed. A VP of Sales and Director of Sales is present along with the HR rep. Do your homework on this as you are responsible for generating a sale that they commit to at the end. If they ask buying questions go right for the sale. This is where I went wrong and wasn't offered the position.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed (Stamford, CT) in Jul 2012
Interview
I was contacted by an Indeed recruiter via LinkedIn. They set up a phone screening call, which started the process. After that, they scheduled an on-site meeting with 1:1 meetings with several directors. After passing that step, they scheduled a presentation in front of a panel of directors and the Sr Director as well. Once this was over, they made the offer right away.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They made me sell Indeed to them on what information I could find online (only) - Their questions were designed to see if I knew enough about their product and if I could think on my feet - Not knowing the right answer was ok, as long as I had a smart reply.
