Applied through online and responsed in 10 days and it started a long precess. First they asked if I am leagally able to work in the US or not. And asked what kinds of experience I have in the country. Had to give them breif experience and then they gave me writing exerscise.

Question 1
The writing exercise was a little difficult. There were 4 questions, one question was to translate into targeted country's language, the others were about indeed. So you really have to know about the company. They give you one hour to complete, you think it is enough time for 4 questions but it was not. I did my best but I did really bad...I I have not got any response from them after submitting the exercies. Guess I failed badly.
They contacted me within a few days and were more than pleasant. First step: an online coding test. This questions wasn't hard if you do the practice test before. The practice test is really hard. I would suggest doing the day day before, and studying a little bit more. Second step: phone interview. The interview was pleasant. They asked me a ton about my project to get the feel of what my work preferences are, and then we moved on to a technical question. The question was easy, the interviewer was trying to understand my thought process. he asked about few improvements and then asked about the run time, and space complexity.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed (Austin, TX) in Oct 2014
Interview
two telephonic and one onsite consisting of three one-on-one interviews and a 90 minute coding challenge. the first round i was asked to remove duplicates from two sorted lists. I answered it using hash maps/sets, which is what they were looking for. the second round was an online test, where i was asked two questions in 70 mins, the first one was to validate paranthesis and the second one was to transfer prisoners from one jail to another, for which i had to use the union find algorithm.
