I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Indeed (Austin, TX)
Interview
Phone Screen then onsite, the onsite interview goes from 9 am to 5 pm, whiteboard questions are pretty basic (no hard code algorithm question, just know your basic DS), design question normal for industry, programming exercise is pretty long but again is not hard.
The interviewers are very nice and they try to give you hints if you get stuck, they come in pairs so you will ended up meeting about 12-13 people by the end of the day.
Advise:
- Ask if you can bring your own laptop for the programming exercise if not you will end up using some crappy laptop and you will loose precious time.
- Make sure you get a good night sleep. It is a long long day.
I applied online. I interviewed at Indeed (New York, NY) in Aug 2016
Interview
it was a lengthy process with 4 different interviews in total. The first 3 ones were phone interviews and the final stage was an in person interview in the NY office via video conference. Not very warm, slightly impersonal but nothing bad per se. I wish they did not waist my time and figured out I was not the right candidate at stage II.

Question 1
the same questions were asked over and over again which made it redundant and disengaging at some point.
