I applied through other source. I interviewed at Indeed
Interview
After a networking session, i have been called to get a interview with 2 sales directors.
Good overall interview and a role play was required.
Not really a problem but they focused too much about what i knew about the company instead of what I could bring to it.
I wasn't good that day but too themselves focused
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Indeed (New York, NY) in Nov 2015
Interview
My interview process was very streamlined and quick. Three rounds within a week and a half and a lot of transparency during the process. The first round was with the recruiter asking me screening questions and letting me know about the role and the responsibilities. The second round was with 3 directors all with different backgrounds and questions. The third round was a mock cold call with the senior director in the office over the phone.
I applied the position in NYC on indeed website and got the phone call from Indeed technical recruiter right on the second day. The recruiter was really nice and helpful, got me prepared for the whole interview process. The first thing I got is a small dataset challenge. Three easy questions and two bonus questions. You might need make some data visualization for this challenge as well. After I passed this, it was a online coding interview. It was performed on Hackerrank(this is a good website for people to practice technical interviews). This was my first time to get a technical interview. One hour with two parts on Python and SQL. Python question was easy for me but SQL was harder. Finally I got passed even though I had provided the right solutions. My advice is that SQL is valued more than other technical skills when comes to DA/BA.
