I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Indeed (Austin, TX) in Jun 2017
Interview
Brief phone screen with the recruiter.
Even though their promotional materials (e.g. YouTube videos) stress that your ability to learn new tools/tech can be more valuable that what you currently know, it became apparent after 5 minutes that they needed someone with Python expertise - but even if you knew things similar to it/had basic knowledge of Python, they just weren't interested. The call was a total waste of my time.

Question 1
What do I know about Indeed / what interested me about the role
The general process seemed to be: share portfolio of work, followed by a phone interview, then a video interview, in-person interview. Was surprised to receive a survey post-interview about my experience after the hiring manager was rude and HR acknowledged the hiring manager can be difficult.

Besides your areas of expertise, and what's on your resume, give me an example of work that you have done.
