I applied in-person. I interviewed at Great Clips (Cranberry Twp, PA) in Jul 2013
Interview
The interview was pretty basic. The manager was new to management and interviewed me by herself. There was some awkward silence but all in all pretty basic. Also, I worked at Great Clips from 2006-2007 (Hampton); and 2008-2009 (Adams Shoppes), having worked at both Great Clips salons for a little over a year at each location. But Glass Door only goes back to 2013.
Because each salon is independently owned and operated, the best person to address your comments would be the franchisee. If you would like follow up, please email Jeanne@greatclips.com with the salon location where you are employed & details. We will provide it to the franchisee for contact with you. Thank you.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Great Clips (Highland, UT)
Interview
I walked in to submit my resume in person and was invited back immediately for an interview. I was asked several questions based on the Great Clips interview sheet and my experience level as a stylist. At the conclusion of the interview I was offered a position and given a schedule to start the following day.
I applied online. I interviewed at Great Clips (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2015
Interview
Brief, I had to bring in two people and demonstrate my hair cutting abilities. It took approximately 1 hour to demonstrate my abilities. I don't know why they had me do it considering that they make you go to a week long class.
