I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Google in Aug 2021
Interview
Probably the best interview experience I've ever had, from a recruiting perspective. The recruiter was helpful, responsive, and went above and beyond every step of the way.
The first round was a recruiter screen that asked me how I would think about opening an ice cream shop to gauge business acumen.
The next round was with the hiring manager, who asked me a series of GCA case questions.
Thereafter, the last two rounds were with the team lead, who I felt went a little off script, but asked a series of personal questions designed to measure "Googliness", and basically did a deep dive into my background, interests, motivations, successes, failures, and growth. The last round was with another account strategist who asked me behavioral and GCA case questions.

Question 1
How would you explain digital ads to a customer who's never used them before?
How would you design a training program to promote D&I at Google?
What's a product at Google that could be improved, and how would you improve it?
Tell me a time when you went above and beyond to help a stakeholder, teammate, or customer?
The process is really complicated, questions are really detailed. Need to prepare. Wishing you all huge success! I had 3 rounds and a prep call. Recruiters are really easy going and responsive.
Disorganized recruiting with random meeting invites with no explanations. Interviewer wasn’t welcoming at all and seemed to not care at all about the interview. The feedback call after the interview sounded like recruiter was reading an AI generating summary of the interview, which felt not personal at all. Overall awful experience.
