EY Sr. Associate interview questions

Phone interview process is very smooth and then invited for super day. The first technical interviewer came up with very detailed question about sth. I might have done 5 years ago and I didn't put anything in my resume that I did that kind of project. He just assumed that I should know that because I worked in the group. And it is just a senior associate position. Why did he expect I know sth. a manager or senior manager should know? Other interviewers are ok.

3 rounds of interviews, with HR, Senior Manager and Partner. The entire hiring process was quick which happened in only two weeks' of time. The questions asked were fairly general and straight-forward
