Deliveroo Senior Software Engineer interview questions

The process consisted of 3 rounds : 1. Karat round of 1 hour focussing on Coding(2 problems) and fundamental questions on computer science(6 questions). 2. Design round where they expect you to provide high level design for a given problem. 3. Behavioral round focussing on mentorship, earning trust, project complexity. I didn't like the way design round was conducted. The discussion was not at all interactive and it appeared that interviewer has a solution in mind. It appeared that interviewer had certain points to cover but he didn't keep track of time and didn't stop me in going into detail of things which he didn't require me to cover. Given time bounded test, it is responsibility of interviewer to cover the agenda item rather than expecting interviewee to read their mind of what all things they want to cover.
