I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cognizant in Jan 2011
Interview
It was long wait as there were many students to be interviewed. In the end, the interview itself lasted for five minutes which consisted of some very basic questions in c++ and java. Some personality questions very also asked. the test was basic math and verbal skill testing. The level was very low and not at all intimidating for someone who is an average engineer.
