I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
The interview process consisted of a phone screen with the recruiter, Zoom with the hiring manager, and a power day with 4 separate Zoom calls with various team members.
I made it through all the rounds, but the interview process was pretty disappointing. For my power day, they didn’t give any options to have them all on the same day - managed to have 3 on one day and 1 on another day. Then, on the day with 3, one of the interviewers did not show up. Apparently he had told them he could not make the meeting, but no one told me. I then had to reschedule that one later in the week, another day (now it was 3 days that I had power day interviews). A very long, drawn out, and stressful process overall.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
Very traditional corporate interview. A standard phone screen, assessment, and then power day of 4 behavioral interviews. Very competency based. STAR method is key for answering questions and focusing on influencing and leading are key.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself. Why Capital One. Tell me about a time you had to convince someone of something.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (New York, NY) in Sep 2021
Interview
Recruiter reached out. Invited to virtual power day. 6 hours interview. 7 interviewers in total, 2 job fits, 2 behavioral, 1 case interview. 4 hours after interview ,got automated rejection email. It was obvious they already had settled on a candidate, so why invite me to interview ? At least add a touch of " humanity" to your rejection email. A day off work and 6 valuable hours out of a busy day is no joke.
