I am a former employee of Capgemini, Got a call from a HR regarding this opportunity and they found my profile on Naukri and scheduled me an interview on Saturday(23rd April 2022)
I joined the teams meeting on time, The guy who was assigned to interview me said that, he has around 17 years of experience practising as an agile coach, he saw my profile and couldn’t tolerate that I’m a Senior Executive in my current organisation and he asked me “Did you report to your VP”, I replied YES and it made him mad.
He started arguing with me like, you have just 6 years of experience and you report to your VP.
He was very angry and abusive till end of the interview,
I remained calm and responded to all the irrelevant questions he asked and completed the interview,
Only thing I can understand is, he couldn’t tolerate that I’m a Senior Executive in my current organisation and I am earning a higher salary with 6 years of experience.
Advice to the management: People like the one who interviewed me are responsible for degrading your brand value, If you have the recording, send it to your HR/legal team and analyse how he is treating the candidates.
Make your interviewers aware that people are paid for their talent and not only based on their experience.
