- First call with HR. Explains the process, the salary, and they gage your interest for Blue Origin.
- Second call with hiring manager. Technical but a lot of situational questions.
- Panel interview.
Never heard back even by emailing multiple HR people who were involved and the hiring manager. Would be nice to have a status so that we know if we can move on/apply for other positions ...
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Blue Origin (Van Horn, TX) in Apr 2023
Interview
Relatively common interview process. One short initial HR phone screen (30 minutes or so), followed by a slightly longer phone interview with an engineer. Was told the final round would be an in person interview where I would make an hour long presentation to a panel, followed by one on one interviews with each person in the panel. Very quick response time after HR interview. Was told I would hear back within 1-2 weeks after phone interview with engineer, but despite following up it took over a month to hear back.

Question 1
Can you describe a system to transport a liquid from one tank to another tank at a higher altitude? Several follow up questions about details in the answer and the physics involved in pumping a liquid uphill.
Very good communication with minimal waiting between steps. Recruiters were very friendly and helpful and made sure I understood the expectations out of each step of the interview process. Went through 3 rounds: screen with recruiter, screen with manager and then panel.
