I applied online. I interviewed at Blue Origin in Feb 2021
Interview
Applied in January got a Hiring manager interview. Then I did a COVID equivalent to an on-site interview (final interview) in February. This consisted of an hour presentation, and 4 30 minute interviews with the team. Then 3 weeks later I talk with HR after the interview get told the team liked me.
Then from February to April, every few weeks I got told the hiring process is taking longer than normal but they are still interested. After April I was ghosted and Workday said I was considered not selected for the role.
Fast forward to July, I get a voicemail from HR saying they had some good news and to call them back. So I called them back and they won't return my calls or emails after they called me to initiate contact.
So I am left confused about why they called me after months of no contact. Overall the interview experience was great but HR is not consistent in giving candidates a denial about a job. They also seem to like keeping people on the hook for as long as possible. So to everyone in the interview process be prepared for a similar experience as mine.

Question 1
STAR Method questioning and resume-based questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Blue Origin in Jun 2020
Interview
Got the initial phone call with the recruiter, then moved on to the technical phone screening, but did not get the final interview. The technical phone screening varied from the hiring manager that I was talking to. In one phone call, I was not asked any technical questions and more on my experiences that I described in my resume. On another phone call, I was given a few questions regarding fundamental equations and processes specific to the job description. I would recommend brushing up on the fundamentals (depending on the position) to prepare for the technical phone screening.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Blue Origin (Seattle, WA) in Jun 2019
Interview
Three step process, where the first interview was a HR screening question (a bit of personal and technical background), technical phone interview, followed up by on site interview. The flights to Seattle, car rental and hotel was paid for very conveniently. For on site interview, HR did a really well tour of the site, where you actually get to sit on the blue origin capsule which is pretty neat. There were five people in a small conference room where I had to display an hour long presentation of my work followed by questions. This was followed by individual interviews wit the people in the presentation room where technical details regarding the position was analyzed. Overall, a positive interview experience.
