I applied online. I interviewed at Blue Origin (Cape Canaveral, FL) in Jun 2026
Interview
I never actually spoke with a live person until my interview, and even for the offer process, it took almost a week with minimal communication. The interview itself was pretty easygoing, and I enjoyed my chat.

Interview
The HackerRank assessment consisted of two 30-minute questions that appeared to be based on simple problems but were modified in an unnecessarily complicated and ambiguous way with poor technical writing skills. Requirements were vague and open to multiple interpretations, making it unclear what was actually being asked, thereby creating a frustrating and ineffective assessment experience. I have a great deal of respect for Blue Origin, but I was not impressed by their use of HackerRank for this evaluation.
