I applied online. I interviewed at Blue Origin in Feb 2026
Interview
30 minute call with recruiter going over experience, set up 4 hour virtual interview, Four 1 on 1 sessions.
Was told I would hear back "In a few days". Took 2 weeks to get back to me. Recruiter saw my resume with ~2.5 years work experience and decided for level II since the req was for any level. Was told that all 4 interviewers liked me but I didn't have enough experience for level II (3+ years) so they didn't give me an offer. Why even interview me and make me take the day off if you aren't willing the budge 6 months on total work experience.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Blue Origin (Merritt Island, FL) in Jul 2026
Interview
First call with recruiter.
3 one on one interviews to see company alignment and position fit.
If there’s no position fit but company alignment, the recruiter will shop your resume around and find you a position.

Question 1
How have you used one of Blue’s values in the past?
Overall a good experience, recruiter was very warm and understanding. Intimidating and in-depth on specificities of personal experiences but understandably so, considering the skills and effort required to design and manufacture reusable launch vehicles.

Question 1
What's one project that you worked on where the application of GD&T had a large impact on?
Had a 1 call with a recruiter, who asked me about myself, and asked if i met the qualifications for the role. Then got ghosted for the 1:1s call, was never scheduled even after reaching out.
