I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Appirio
Interview
1) I was initially contacted by phone by the recruiter and they asked me basic questions of my experience as a Business Analyst.
2) Received a Salesforce.com technical exercise and once completed had a a phone interview to go over the exercise.
3) Had two other interviews over the phone with current Appirio Consultants. Their questions were mostly about my experience and how I interact and work in teams. They didn't ask any technical questions.
4) Had a face to face interview with the person that would be my manager.
5) They flew me to Indiana for 3 more face to face interviews.
Overall, it was obvious that for an associate consultant they wanted basic Salesforce.com admin knowledge but most importantly they wanted to make sure I was someone that would fit into Appirio. They were looking for someone that they all felt comfortable working with. They wanted to see my personality and attitude.

Question 1
They didn't really have difficult questions. After 4 or 5 interviews without technical questions one of the interviewers in Indiana asked me a couple of technical questions. I was taken a little by surprise but they were not complicated questions.
Had 3 phone interviews, including recruiting phone screen. Then had a Skype interview with management. After that I was scheduled to do an in person interview with 4 different associates. Overall the interview experience was very pleasant and organized.

Question 1
What was your most difficult situation and how did you handle it?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Appirio
Interview
Overall, I would say the interview process is long and intense. I was referred by an employee and had an initial conversation with the recruiter almost immediately after my referral. I completed a technical exercise, followed by a video call (behavior interview), technical exercise review, phone interview, video interview and then in-person in SF with 4 people. While I was constantly impressed by the Appirians I spoke with, I was less impressed by the communication from the recruiting team. There were several duplicate requests that I had to bring to their attention.
