Engineers applying to positions across the board go through a mandatory behavioral interview where they're assessed on a bunch of behavioral aspects. The questions are usually around Amazon's 14 leadership principles that the company values deeply.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2022
Interview
4 behavioral interviews centered around Amazon's Leadership Principles. Some interviewers went more in-depth than others into my stories so the number of questions per person ranged from two to four questions each.

Tell me about a time when you made a decision with limited data.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Aug 2022
Interview
After applying online, I heard back around after 3 weeks and had all the phone and onsite interviews in the following 3-4 weeks. Most of the questions felt behavioral, and I tried my best to apply the leadership principles. I also had at least 2 personal stories ready for each LP. Flagship Amazon PM interview course from Product Alliance helped a lot with my structure and what to expect from each of the interviews — thanks to that, I felt prepared for the interviews, which I think helped a lot with my performance.
