The office was new and fancy, and HR and the people-ops team were responsive when you had questions.

Cons

EVERYTHING! I have never worked somewhere as toxic in all of my life. Management are beyond incompetent, and the work culture is hugely misogynistic (one of the very few girls in the office even told me - in confidence - that she was pulled aside by one of the senior managers who told her that she was dressing "too conservatively" and her style didn't match the de Vere 'culture'. She was shown pictures of short skirts and very tight shirts when asked for what would be appropriate).

Biggest cowboys of the financial services industry I have ever had the misfortune to come across. It's a boiler room. Proper 80s-style Wolf of Wall Street stuff but none of the employees see any benefits, they are worked like slaves and treated disgustingly, often left in financial trouble. How they are allowed to continue to be in existence is beyond me, luckily I was quick to see them for what they are I got the hell out of there. It's a pyramid scheme where employees are sold complete lies and clients are fleeced of all their wealth, purely for the benefit of those in senior positions. They have zero morals and if you don't believe me, search 'DeVere' in facebook and look at the group postings within it. That is the truth.
