Pros

Health benefits, opportunities to move up are common every 6 months to a year, payied me hourly to get training and for the training costs. A lot of heath issues can make it hard to work walgreens has employed with any disability.

Cons

stress , I always tell people if you can't handle watching 3 kids dont apply because people treat walgreens as the McDonalds of drugs you have 45 seconds or customers start yelling. computer hardware or software will not work on some level EVERYDAY., glitches and work-a-rounds are very common for our operating system. Lastly a lot of coverage falls on your shoulders depending on your position if you can find coverage for vacation you cant go.

Pros

Family environment, leveled careers, raises, promotional bonuses for certain events, paid for education, full benefits and matched 401k, lasting relationships with coworkers and company, discounts, buy-in to corporate stocks, front line healthcare services and provider abilities, company continues to pay for pharmacy tech license and certification/reimbursement, flexible schedule and hours, drive-time pay, employees discount days with extra savings, company owned credit and debit card that applies more discount, being proud of who you work for

Cons

Hourly rate is well below what should be paid for the amount of work and responsibilities that technicians and RXoM do and have, no overtime and possible discipline for not getting daily/weekly/monthly chores done with the work load you’re given, unrealistic goals and metrics to be met
