Pros

Good product. Great commission. Can earn promotions within a year. If you've been successful in a door to door position before and have used a structured pitch, piece of cake.

Cons

You're essentially on call all the time. If someone booked an appointment for you, you've got to take it, even at 8pm. Can end up working 12-13 hour days. Fine for some but I was told that it was 9-5 in my interview and training.

Pros

Very rewarding in triggering bonuses if the number of sales/installations are achieved per month.

Cons

In order to create a decent wage per month cold calling is the key. If you aren't very confident or self motivated person then this could become an issue for you very quickly especially in the winter months.
