Pros

Free breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks in the office

Cons

Huge employee turn over, was let go due to 'head count' which wasn't true (my manager was left with 2 people in her team after this - that's not a team). They do not address problems with leads and will always blame whoever doesn't hit target even if on holiday. Extremely micromanaging had a breakdown 2 months in the job because of the stress, micromanaging and unrealistic work load. In the short time (less than 6 months) I was there over 7 people were fired.

Pros

Modern office and good benefits, access to in-office gym, and meals. Colleagues were approachable and helpful across departments.

Cons

As a sales employee at Uber for Business, I have had a terrible experience. The company has failed to provide a reliable and supportive environment for its employees. There is no job security, and the pay is below market rate. The management is unsupportive, and the work culture leaves much to be desired. I witnessed numerous AEs get fired for underperformance with no warning whatsoever. Very cut throat environment that leads to a toxic sales culture. There is no sense of job satisfaction or recognition, and as far as the actual sale is concerned; it's really difficult to create urgency with clients, as the U4B platform is a "nice to have" not a must-have. You will always be on the client's timeline, resulting in longer sales cycles which doesn't help you hit your goals. All in all, working at U4B has been an unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Pros

-Nice office -Uber credit each month

Cons

Uber pays well below the industry average and has an extremely toxic culture. Upper management does not care about the SMB team or their success. Onboarding is a joke, you have to teach yourself the job and then are expected to teach newbies the job as well. The managers that are hired are inexperienced and not able to help answer questions. Several females have reported sexual harassment that HR does nothing about. Under-performers are thrown leads to get them over the threshold and top performers are given fake titles and more work for no additional pay. They will give you false promises (bonuses, promotions, leads, etc) and use dumb phrases like "being apart of a rocket ship" to try and get you to stick around. ANY other entry/mid level job would be better.
