Pros
Benefits are good not best Relax in office settings but more strict in the field sites Some groups or departments do provide training for work & development Pay is not bad & decent bonus for mgmt supervisor level You stay in cruise control working here
Cons
Degrees are not needed for many positions Deal with diff mgrs who some appreciate higher education & others don't care and/or feel it's a waste .... They don't know that not all Universities are created equal & it's not all book smart , some schools do focus hands on & do projects for some top orgs... You get extra education or even professional certs... It's doesn't mean much or don't expect an increase in pay... While other orgs do care & see value ( same thing, not all certifications are created equal, ie CISSP vs CompTia A+) Salaryl not at market value ...
