40-hour work week
A lot of long-time employees
Company has been around for over 100 years
Cons
After going for-profit in 2012, management stated there would be no raises for 2 years, or until April 2014. Never gave bonuses on the past, citing their not-for-profit status as the reason.
The company is good company but management locally is not good. Rules are not same for everyone.
Cons
Lot of F word flies. Lot of politics that revolves around one individual who is at the bottom of chain of command. Why is that? Manager and the employee came from a company to UL and there is good chance they brought some confidential information. Employee was instrumental in bringing the information. Rest is history. When I brought matter to the attention of management, harassment started. Ultimately I had to leave.
