      A good company to work

      Pros

      Lots of opportunity to learn and grow. Very good work-life balance. People are nice and friendly. The HQ is very spacial and nice, and it has a lake and trails. Company encourages employee to have a walk after lunch. It has gym with 10 bucks/month inside the company. It has two Toastmaster clubs, and the company pays for member fee of the clubs.

      Cons

      The company was a not-for-profit company several years ago. Although it's now for profit, the salary is relatively lower than other companies of the same position levels. Salary increase rate is very low. The pace of the company is not fast, which can be a pro or a con depending on a person's view. The employee turnover is a little bit high.

      Large portfolio of services covers many industries Employer sponsored 401k Good benefits with employer HSA bonus Reputable and respected brand Laid back work atmosphere (although sometimes too laid back)

      Cons

      UL continues to suffer from inadequate middle-management and employees who have been at UL too long to care anymore. These employees will continue to hinder UL's objectives to be the client's first choice and an organization that attracts top talent. Titles are applied indiscriminately with little guidance from HR. Poor IT infrastructure and knowledge of technology systems
