Pros

Salary and ability to work from home when needed.

Cons

Corporate culture is old school so most people do not like working there. They stay there for the salary and wfh, also because there are fewer jobs outside now. Seem to be alot of people with zero people/managerial skills in management due to the way that promotions are done on the basis of working hard for 2-3 years in a lower job. Those who know they are good but miss out on promotions due to having a bad manager end up leaving within 2 years.

Pros

you will learn how unprofessional people can be, and it will lower your expectations from people in general

Cons

-low pay; below industry standard. No bonuses, no raises. Whatever you negotiated--this is what you will make for the duration of your time at UBS. -extremely unprofessional rude people. I worked in Management Consulting Group (MD was a joke, his favorites would yell at people and disrespect others--nothing will be done) and I worked with MDs and Directors across the bank--same story: just push your work on others, humiliate them, promote culture of fear and bulling--and eventually, in 10 years, you will get promoted. -backstabbing. If you dont know how or cannot do that--this is not a place for you. You HAVE TO be rude, push work on others, turn things to put other people in trouble, go to the highest manager and tell lies about other people--all to make sure management never looks at what you are doing -Zurich and London management is a joke too. They make you fill out a monthly survey. which is NOT anonymous, then a manager from London calls you to ask why you are unhappy and softly hints you--you are free to leave -very toxic culture, stay away -no promotions, like i said above--it takes on average 7-10 years unless you are the favorite one. They also constantly tell you at the yearend review that you are a step away from being fired, but they will give you another chance to keep your job, obviously you are not qualified for a promotion. -insurance is very expansive and the worst I have ever had, and I worked at other big banks and corporations

Pros

Technology is good Above avg learning One star for the things I learnt at Ubs.

Cons

There is no scope for the work you do . How much csr or other stuff you do will get recognized. Management is only busy in csr and diversity management. Hikes are not good.in some team it was told less hike due to fine on bank.
