The pay is steady, you won't need to worry about checks bouncing. Doing the mail can be fun. And lots of interaction with people if you are sociable You will learn about logistics. Its a job.

Cons

- You are expected to keep track of 3 or more things at once. You may find yourself retrieving packages for a box holder even though you are currently trying to bind copies for another customer, while someone else is filling a ship-slip. On some days the stress of mufti-tasking can go on for hours. - Offloading packages that are to be shipped for customers, weighing 20-60lbs. - Expected to charge people obscene prices for putting paper into boxes. - Workload does not justify the pay.

Pros

Packaging boxes was actually really fun if you enjoy organizing and making something work. Simple job and simple process.

Cons

Prices may drive customers to complain and it happens a lot. Had co-workers that was just too uptight for a small business like this. I have heard the same from other branches as well. We also did USPS and when they don't ask for a delivery confirmation and the mail takes forever to come, they come to us and whine and we can't do any thing about it.

it I snot as stressful on the body as working for ups corporate. the hours are pretty good and you get a build a personal relationship with lots of the customers

Cons

This is a franchise so you work for a individual or owner and not the corporate. the owner has the right to give you hours and take them away at will without so much as a word. there is no system for working other that what the owner sets in place
