Pros

Literally anyone can get hired here!!!

Teleperformance in South Florida, formerly known as TAG, treats its employees miserably. I remain amazed at how little value they place on employees and how they appear to go out of their way to make the work experience miserable. Their corporate attitude as expressed by a trainer was that you should be thankful you have a job because there are plenty of people on the street who can replace you. Consequently, the turnover is extremely high. Unfortunately, their clients must not value longevity for their hired labor force either but must be interested only in the lowest cost possible. I was hired as a licensed insurance agent and very impressed with the red carpet treatment that I received from personnel along with the description of the work, compensation and benefits. Unfortunately, once on board, the red carpet was replaced by metal detectors manned by security guards who make the ones at airports seem super friendly and cheerful. Quite quickly, it also became apparent that just about everything that I had been told about incentives and benefits was a fantasy. Unless you are desperate and have little self-respect, I would avoid this place.

Pros

I would not recommend this workplace to anyone other than the telephone operators/agents looking for a temporary job while they go through school (university).

Cons

Antiquated management style done via strong-arming and being tough. Ambiguity and overlap of roles with my direct supervisor Poor communication and goal-setting on behalf of my direct supervisor Favoritism Offices in different countries do not work together. They work independently of each other and work in silos. No sharing of best practices.

Pros

Sit down job, 40+hours, descent pay, descent bonuses.

Cons

Management is a Joke!! They hold your job over your head!! There is always something new to say on the phone calls every week & you get told every week that if they burst 1 of your calls & you didn't say or offer the new thing for the week you get fired! The amount of floor support is ridiculous while the supervisors are sitting there watching you with your hand in the air. Favoritism is all over the place! Computers on the call floor don't work half the time & the ceiling leaks all over the place, the chairs on the call floor are stupid broke & uncomfortable but the new chairs & carpet in the training building sure look nice!!
